The Entrusted Life ("we", "us") runs theentrustedlife.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, and the choices you have. If you have a question about it, email us at info@siplegacyholdings.com.
Information you give us
- Contact form. Your name, email address and message, so we can reply.
- Email updates. Your first name and email address, when you sign up and tick the box asking to receive new articles and updates.
- Member accounts. Your email address and password when you create a free account, plus any name you give us. Passwords are handled by our site platform; we never see them.
- Community posts and comments. What you write in a pillar group, on the Prayer Wall, or under an article, shown with your display name.
- Purchases. Your name, email address and billing details when you buy a workbook or other resource. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not receive or store your full card number.
- Event registrations. The details an event's registration form asks for, when we host events.
- The Steward Leader app. The situations you describe to the app and the area you lead in (business, community, home or personal), so it can write counsel for you. We keep a count of how many answers you (or your team) receive each month to apply plan limits, but not the situations or answers themselves. Your counsel journal, follow-up answers and check-in notes are kept only in your own browser on your device, unless you turn on "Keep my journal on all my devices". If you turn it on, we store your journal (the situations you described, the answers, follow-ups and check-in notes) with your account so you can see it wherever you sign in. Only you can see it. Turning the setting off deletes that stored copy, and deleting your account deletes it too. Practice conversations are never stored. If you ask us to email you to check in on an answer, we store your member and contact record, your first name, that answer's one-line principle and its lane so we can send it (about three days later). After sending, we keep them for up to 14 days so the email's link can show that check-in on any of your devices, and delete them sooner when you check in or cancel. When you share an answer, the link carries a private code tied to your account (not your name or email). If someone who opens it later starts a plan of their own, we record that link between the two accounts so we can add bonus answers to yours. If you turn on the morning word, we store your member and contact record, your first name, the lane you chose, whether you want it by email and by phone notification, and, for notifications, the push address your browser gives us (a web address at your browser maker's push service, not your phone number). Notifications carry no content; the app fetches the word when you open it. Turning the morning word off deletes these settings. If you also keep your journal on all your devices, the morning word may mention the principle of a recent answer you have not checked in on. When you start a free trial, we email you up to three times during it (a welcome, tips for getting more from the app, and a reminder the day before your trial ends, with how to cancel) and record which of those emails were sent. When you buy a gift month, we record the gift code, your order and, once it is redeemed, the account that redeemed it, so each code works only once. On the team and enterprise plans, we store the team name and the email addresses the account owner adds, so those people can join the team. On the Churches & Groups plan, we store the group name and the email addresses the group leader adds in the same way, plus the devotionals and discussion guides the leader sends to the group, so everyone in the group can read them in the app. If the leader chooses to email one, we send it to each person in the group who has joined. A group leader never sees the situations anyone in the group describes or the answers they receive. Your membership plan and billing are handled by our site platform and payment provider.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, the site records basic technical information when you visit, such as your browser type, device, the pages you view and roughly where you are visiting from. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies used by our site platform, Wix, to keep the site working (for example, keeping you signed in and remembering your cart), to keep it secure, and to show us how the site is used. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may stop working.
When you arrive through one of our links from social media, email or a message, the link carries a short campaign tag (for example, which post you clicked). We record that tag, the page you landed on and your device type, and keep a random visitor code in your browser so we can tell which posts are helpful. If you later sign in, we connect the tag from your first such visit to your account so we know which post brought you to The Steward Leader app. We use this only to improve how we share our content, and we do not sell it.
How we use your information
- To respond to your messages and requests.
- To send you new articles and updates, only if you asked for them. Every email includes a link to unsubscribe.
- To run your member account and show your posts in the community.
- To process and deliver your orders and send receipts.
- To keep the site safe, prevent abuse, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with others for their own marketing.
Who can see what you post
Posts in the pillar groups and comments on articles are public: anyone visiting the site can read them. The Prayer Wall is shown only to signed-in members. Even so, please share only what you are comfortable sharing, and avoid posting private details about other people. We may remove posts that are harmful or inappropriate.
Who we share information with
We share information only with the service providers that help us run the site, and only for that purpose:
- Wix.com, which hosts the site and stores its data, including accounts, forms, comments and orders.
- Payment processors, which handle payments when you make a purchase.
- Anthropic, which provides the AI model behind The Steward Leader app. When you ask the app for counsel, the situation you typed is sent to Anthropic to generate the answer. We do not send your name or email address with it, and we do not store your situations or answers on our site. Please leave out details that identify other people.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our community.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you have an account, are subscribed to updates, or as needed to answer your request or complete your order. Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. When we no longer need information, we delete it.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any email.
- Delete your own posts and comments on the site at any time.
- Ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing info@siplegacyholdings.com.
- Delete your account and its data, on the site and in The Steward Leader app. Here is how.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws. We will respond to requests within the time those laws allow.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We rely on our platform's security measures, including encrypted connections, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
